The PM-25 and PM-37 Wide Belt Sanders have a fully adjustable platen that allows roller-only, platen-only, or combination usage. All controls are centralized in a front panel with buttons clearly identified. Metal-tipped safety stops are located inside the machine to stop the sander immediately in case of belt breakage or tracking problems to prevent rubber roller damage. This sander uses electronic infrared tracking. The contact drum is covered with durable rubber and is designed and balanced to ensure precise, chatter-free sanding. The table is mounted on booted, precision, heavy-duty worm-gear-type jacks, and the opening is fully adjustable from 0 inches to 5 inches. A digital readout displays fractions, decimel inches, or millimeters.
